The Challenge

During a period of hot weather in August 2025, the Career Room air conditioning system at Christ the King Emmanuel failed unexpectedly.

The indoor unit’s fan motor seized, causing a chain reaction that damaged the PCB board and left the system completely inoperable.

This space is heavily used for career guidance sessions, interviews, and workshops. With a busy schedule ahead, the college required an urgent repair to restore comfort and prevent disruption to planned student activities.

Our Solution

VHL Mechanical was instructed to attend site immediately and deliver a fast-track repair. After carrying out a full diagnostic inspection, our team implemented the following works:

• Supplied and installed a new fan motor to restore air circulation
• Replaced the damaged PCB board and recommissioned system controls
• Reconnected all wiring and tested communication between indoor and outdoor units
• Conducted voltage and performance tests to verify stability
• Completed full operational handover and left the area tidy and ready for use
